From Farm to Skin: Our lavender is nurtured by nature

 Nestled away in the back of a canyon, just minutes away from the beach, lies a little piece of heaven on Earth. I have the honor of sourcing my lavender flowers from a small family farm in San Luis Obispo County, California. The Lavender Smiths' haven't irrigated their crops in 5 years; a true testament to their commitment to the mindful stewardship of their land, and to their faith in the health and vitality of their plants. Tending to their drought tolerant farm is an act of love for owners Stacy and Finney Smith. Although their farm is uncertified because it is too small to justify the cost of organic certification, no fertilizer or pest management is used in the maintenance of the crops. The flowers are carefully harvested by hand so not to disturb the soil and the plants are imbued with kind words, ruminated in the joyful ambiance of the farm and frequently treated to live music!
